Pirate Ship at Lake of the Ozarks

Here is something even many of the locals don’t know about Lake of the Ozarks…There are pirates on them there waters, argh!

The pirates are employed by Jolly Charters and Jolly Rogers Grub ‘n Pub, a pirate themed restaurant at the 4-1/2 mile marker of the Gravois Arm.

A converted U.S. Navy troop transport ship now goes by the name, Calypso with pirate Captain Scalawag at the helm, who looks suspiciously like Captain Jack Sparrow. Which is not at all a bad thing. 😉

My mom playing first mate until she told the Captain the story of her sinking a boat once. He took the helm from her immediately!

It’s a pirate’s life for me…

The Calypso

Take your scurvy lot out on the Lake without having to worry about captaining a boat yourself. Everyone got a turn at the helm and a little pirate booty to boot!
